Adekunle Gold and Falz banter on social media with throwback photos of each other


In recent times, the social media space has been filled with a lot of negative news and it is only expected that people would want to take a break from it and see positive content.

Just recently, two of the top music stars in the country, Adekunle Gold and Falz, got Nigerians buzzing after they shared photos from each other’s humble beginnings.

It is not clear who started the battle of the throwbacks but it sure kept Nigerians entertained.

The two singers threw shots at each other by sharing unbelievable photos from their pasts and fans could not help but be amazed at their transformation. Many even expressed disbelief that the people in the photos were the celebrities.

Others also saw it as a motivation that people’s story and lifestyle can transform no matter where they come from.

Adekunle Gold shared an old photo of Falz rocking a big coat and his caption read: “Nothing serious, Just a bop daddy in my dad’s coat.”

Just recently, the Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, shared a throwback photo of herself from year 2002 where she posed beside her Mazda 929.

She said that the car had been a big deal at the time. The actress also said that the clothes she was wearing were from Collectibles and that it was where the big girls shopped during that period.
